Branson Perry followed in his father’s footsteps, joining the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. All his training never prepared him for his first night on his own. “Get your guns, boys” was the start of the most unique standoff in Oklahoma history. After surviving that, Branson went on to become one of the top criminal interdiction specialists in the United States, a skill that ended up with an ACLU lawsuit, three years of litigation, and finally, a resolution.
