Growing up, Paul was being impressed on the idea of getting a Phd in the U.S. and have a career in academia as a way to fulfill his family’s dreams and expectations. His whole 20 some years was planned around coming to the U.S. and getting that Phd. Job searching was just a plan B for him, yet he is now working as a civil engineer. Started out his journey in California, Paul then moved to Michigan for his masters, and then to Cleveland, Ohio for the first job. A year later, he eventually relocate back to California.
