Penn State and Pitt, ALL ACCESS, Donny's Off. ROY, Where does the Steelers roster rank?
Calls. Aditi Kinkhabwala from the NFL on CBS joined the show. Aditi doesn’t think the Steelers are done making news and could continue over the next few days, but it’s a very strong roster right now. She doesn’t see any massive holes in the Steelers roster. She said the expectations have been high for the defense, but now it’s fair to have high expectations for the offense too. She thinks the pass rush is the strongest part of the game because they seem to have their deepest group there in years, while still having TJ Watt lead the way. She also raved about the wide receiver room. She’s fascinated to see if there will be a division of labor at running back as Jaylen Warren continues to push Najee Harris. Aditi broke down each roster in the AFC North, minus the quarterback position. Donny Football Debrief – Donny predicted Jahmyr Gibbs will win Offensive Rookie of the Year. What are the Steelers getting in Desmond King? The guys love that this patches up a position of weakness heading into the season. How many rosters in the AFC are better or deeper than the Steelers?
