Pickett to Pickens, Steelers’ speed showcased in preseason opener

“Bleav in Steelers” hosts Ike Taylor and Mark Bergin share their thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win in the preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers The guys liked what they saw from Kenny Pickett, George Pickens and Diontae Johnson. They also discuss what Matt Canada’s offense should look like in the 2023 season. Taylor and Bergin also shared their thoughts on the speed displayed by Calvin Austin III and Anthony McFarland. The guys thought Nick Herbig was the most impressive rookie in the preseason opener. Bergin believes Kendrick Green needs to show improvement as an interior offensive lineman. Plus, the pass defense needs to be better. However, several key players didn’t play for the Steelers.
