Points on Prayer

The urgency of prayer is underscored in Paul's first words written in 1 Timothy 2. There Paul also emphasizes the forms of prayer we should address God with. Prayerful meditation is vital to the Christian life, but biblical meditation is not like the meditation of Eastern mystical religions. Biblical prayer fills the mind with purpose and reason and centers on the majesty of God.
