Preciousness: The Detriment and the Joy
Do you think you have issues with preciousness? Does your sense of preciousness bring you joy or is it a detriment? I’ll talk about ways this sometimes skewed sense of value can get in our way and what to do with it, but also a bit about how to embrace preciousness in an encouraging and meaningful way. We’ll go over things like:· Literal preciousness in the materials themselves· Preciousness in the Scarcity (quantity)of work we create· Pride or “parental” based preciousness, where we see what we make as our children· Ego or attention seeking preciousness—where value is based on what feeds our egos the most· Selective preciousness: where we fall in love with parts of our work to the determent of the whole.Other Resources mentioned:Etsy Seller research and marketing service: https://www.alura.io/-Leave a COMMENT: https://thesagearts.com/episodes/CONTACT SAGEEmail Sage via the contact form or send a voice mail (use the red button, bottom right) on the show website: https://thesagearts.com/contact/And join Sage on social media:Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thes....ageartspodcast/Faceb https://www.facebook.com/TheSageArtsPodcast-GET WEEKLY PODCAST NOTICES & BONUS MATERIAL:https://sagebrayvaron.com/the-....sage-arts-podcast/-S THIS PODCAST· Buy me a coffee!· Give back with PayPal· Buy a STICKER!
