Psalm, Chapter 92Praise for the Lord’s Goodness.A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day.92 It is good to give thanks to the Lord<br/> And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;<br/> 2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning<br/> And Your faithfulness [a]by night,<br/> 3 [b]With the ten-stringed lute and [c]with the harp,<br/> [d]With resounding music [e]upon the lyre.-          The title of this message is Praise for the Lord’s Goodnesso   When is the last time you Praised the Lord for His Goodness-          A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath dayo   The Sabbath day is the day you stop working and focus on Godo   This should lead to a Song (singing Praise to the Lord)o   For His Goodness (this is why we should giving Him praise)-          It is good to give thanks to the Lordo   It is good because God loves it!o   Thank Him and Thank Him and Thank Him-          And to sing praises to Your name, O Most Higho   Notice its not about just singing songs because we are happyo   It is singing praises to Your name (the name of Jesus Christ)§  It is because of what He did personally for each of us-          To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by nighto   We should declare two things§  His Lovingkindness§  And His Faithfulnesso   We should declare it morning and night (night & day – continuously)-          With the ten-stringed lute and with the harpo   This would require thought, written music, planning, practiceo   It’s a big deal because God’s Lovingkindness & Faithfullness is a big deal!-          With resounding music upon the lyreo   Resounding means loud & clear & awesomeo   Consider how great the value of His lovingkindness & faithfulness<br/> 4 For You, O Lord, have made me glad by [f]what You have done,<br/> I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.-          Notice it is what the Lord did made him glad-          The works of His hands (creation, life, forgiveness, grace, mercy & salvation via the cross)5 How great are Your works, O Lord!<br/> Your [g]thoughts are very deep.-          How great are Your works O LordWelcome to the Outbless Weekly bible study hosted by bible teacher and humber servant Michael Metcalf Thank you for listening to The Outbless weekly bible
