Recovery Begins Here

-Recovery- has become a cultural catch phrase that typically is sued to refer to abstinence and programatic steps taken to overcome addiction to alcohol and other drug addictions. But where does recovery begin-- It begins with the recognition that you cannot save yourself. In biblical terms, self-salvation. And yet, most Protestant-evangelicals truly believe they are presently saved due to some inherent virtuue within them, including the act of belieiving the gospel. This is a serious error. In this episode, we remind you of the nature and character of salvation as a gracious, sovereign work of God on your behalf which is then applied through the gift of faith, and not because of faith, but because of Christ.
