Roughing the passer? Steelers beat Raiders despite bogus penalty against Minkah Fitzpatrick

"Bleav in Steelers" hosts Ike Taylor and Mark Bergin discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers' 23-18 win against the Las Vegas Raiders. Bergin questions the decision by Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels to kick a field goal late in the fourth quarter trailing by eight points instead of going for it on fourth down in Steelers' territory. The guys also question the roughing-the-passer penalty called against Minkah Fitzpatrick. The Raiders weren't called for illegal hands to the face against Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett. Ike asks how defensive players are supposed to hit given the current NFL rules for player safety. The Steelers utilized the play-action pass and tight end Pat Freiermuth in the win. Quarterback Kenny Pickett played his best game of the 2023 season in the win. It marked the first time he's thrown for two touchdowns in a regular season game. Kicker Chris Boswell made all three of his field goals, punter Pressley Harvin III punted well, Levi Wallace had two interceptions and Patrick Peterson had one interception. Ike makes the case for why T.J. Watt is the NFL's best defensive player. Watt had two sacks against the Raiders. The Steelers open as a 3-point road favorite against the Texans. On Monday morning, the Steelers' team plane made an emergency landing in Kansas City. Ike shares a story of a plane ride he had after the Steelers' January 2006 playoff win against the Denver Broncos.
