Season 1 Episode 5 "Toxicships and Parents Pt.1"

One of the worst moments to experience, is the acknowledgement that you have toxic parents. Our parents are supposed to be there to protect us, nourish us, love us and having to grow through childhood without receiving any of that from either parent is disastrous for some. Although my late father did not become a permanent figure in my life until my late teen years, I noted and appreciated the attempts to becoming a bigger part of my life. We must remember that it takes forgiveness, if not for them, then for self. In this episode, I discuss my first memories of my father.
