In the previous episode O, Kelly and Zee discuss the use of artificial intelligence for analysis of our reactions to social media. Our dislikes, likes and outrage are all measured by our clicks, interactions and analysis of our text. These measurements are then fed to other AI applications that identify further content to display. Or worse, these applications introduce other users to interact with us, as though herding us to predetermined social groups. Chat GPT is a focus and its natural language processing in mental health is discussed. Some in the mental health profession believe AI chat can assist with diagnosis, and can provide assistance to patients by occupying them during times where there would be no other person to converse with. The Wysa AI Health Chat application has conducted over 500 million conversations.

In this episode Kelly asks if AI can propel us to the point where we can’t distinguish real life from artificial constructs? The FDA has approved an AI application for use in mental health scenarios. Have we deteriorated in society to the point we allow technology to take responsibility for us, and is AI yet another step in that direction? And are matching algorithms for Spotify and dating applications replacing our ability to gather information and make decisions for ourselves in the name of expediency?

We have been manipulated. Severed Conscience is a prison of the mind.

This is the audio version of our full video documentary.
To access our documentary, join our community on https://severedconscience.com.
