The book is autobiographical. It begins with the author as a 17 year old  teenager walking in the jungles of Vietnam fighting for his life. The author is assigned to be the radio carrier and to walk point for his unit. The most dangerous job. He is shot in the mouth.  Instead of being killed, he loses teeth and bone, which changes his speech causing him to stutter and have difficulty pronouncing some words. This is the story of a young man who chose to view this horrendous turn of fate into something positive. Tom uses his positive outlook on life and humor to reframe the incident. This is a book about hope and overcoming the worst moment in a life. God called him into the ministry. Tom has been speaking before people for 40 years using his life experiences to point out that you have a choice. A person can choose how they view any major incident in their life. Through-out the book you will hear Tom’s sense of humor getting him through the many difficult times of his life. This book will make you laugh, cry, get mad, and experience many other emotions.  This is an encouraging book that will show you, with God’s help, you truly can do anything you want, even with disabilities. The author would like a reader to take away three things from the book: 1.   A sense of humor and a positive attitude helps you get through tough times. 2.   Hard times can make you or break you, it’s your choice. 3.   With God’s help all things are possible. https://www.amazon.com/Shot-Mouth-Still-Preaching-Williams/dp/B0BXX36JPG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3B9T5RW1MZHBJ&keywords=9798823003001&qid=1688699439&sprefix=9781982296728%2Caps%2C294&sr=8-1
