The Case-Shiller index showed that national home prices increased for the 2nd-straight month, with most of the big cities posting gains. Meanwhile, good news on the debt ceiling and Fed commentary about potentially ‘skipping’ a rate hike in June helped send mortgage rates back below 7%.My personal opinion, don’t look for rates to come down. There’s a belief that they will actually continue to go up.
House Bill 2288:House Bill 2288, by Republicans Rep. John Pfeiffer and Sen. Brent Howard, was signed into law by the  governor in May making it easier to change the covenant language with a simple request to a county clerk.  Even though discriminatory language in covenants is not enforceable and actually against the law, now it’s a lot easier to have discriminatory language removed and that’s a good thing.
