Spiritual Mindedness is Life and Peace

We come to our first preparatory service for the Lord's Supper. We meditate upon the truth of Romans 8-6 - that to be spiritually minded is life and peace. We contemplate the great transformative effects of being spiritually minded - that it brings life and vitality to our soul and it produces peace in our hearts. We then test ourselves to see if the marks of spiritual mindedness are found in us. That if we are found lacking in a heavenly mind, to go and seek the remedy that Christ gives us, as we approach the Lord's Supper.
