State of the Club: Manchester United - featuring Colin Damms from The Busby Babe (July 27 2023)
Another week, another State of the Club podcast, this time focused on Manchester United featuring Colin Damms (@ColinTheShots95) from @TheBusbyBabe and The Fergie Fledglings podcast! Colin joins Scott to breakdown all the happenings with the Red Devils starting with a look back at a trophy winning 2022/2023 campaign that saw Manchester United compete at a very high level across 4 competitions for the first time since Alex Ferguson was on the touchline. After sifting through some of the standout performances of a few individuals within the squad, the guys shift gears into assessing the new arrivals this summer starting with Mason Mount and Andre Onana. A summer transfer recap for Manchester United would be incomplete without talking about the ongoing sale process of the club that just might see the Glazers finally hand over full ownership of the club to a set of new owners (...maybe). Finally, the guys wrap up with some predictions for the upcoming season including a guess at how many points United will finish with come seasons end and forecasting just how many goals Marcus Rashford might score as hes poised for a potential career year.
