Stop, Thief – Finders Keepers

The eighth commandment has been widely broken by both believers and unbelievers.  When looking at scripture, there are many examples of various ways this commandment can be broken.  A lot of theft is not direct, but indirect.  God even mentions how we can steal from Him. The New Testament clearly says, “you are not your own; you were bought with a price.”  Christ is our owner.  We are His creation.  We belong to Him.  Do we fail to give ourselves completely over to Him?  Are we stealing what is already His?
