Swimmer Rescue | Aaron and Zach's Mediocre Rafting Show
This week Zach and Steve look at a few videos that demonstrate swimmer rescue. Cody joins in at the the end to help answer a question about picking good boating partners. https://www.youtube.com/embed/CKhPxD_4-Ew Zach and Steve had some robust discussions about how to rescue swimmers and which swimmers to rescue first. The following priorities were agreed on: Prioritize the safety of the boat you're while rescuing swimmers so you don't create more swimmers Any swimmer ahead of boats is in a particularly dangerous position so catching up with the most downstream swimmer is a priority Here are links to the videos we watched this week: Dragonboat lowhead dam Rubber Flip Fowlers Flip Cataract Swimmer Rescue Lochsa Flip and Recovery Swimmer rescue Gear Garage is for entertainment only.
