The Cross And Displine In His Sons

Christ was disciplined by the Father through the things that He suffered and then finished the cross once for all and now we too are to have that same discipline and cross experience in our lives as we walk in the steps of our Lord. Show Notes: How do we view the cross of Christ in our lives? The cross must be a real and living experience in each believer's life. The cross is a one time experience, but it is expandable. There is a discipline that the Father puts each of His sons through to do the will of God. Our approach to one another is to be connected, to have a greater fellowship, to do the will of God in our lives. We have claimed the fullness of the cross of Christ in our lives and now we walk in the steps of our Lord as our Father disciplines and scourges every son whom He receives. <br/>   Quotes: You can look at the cross and say, oh, man, I'm dying. Or you can take a look at the cross and say, I'm coming alive because of the cross. It has to be an experience, a real living experience that no one can talk you out of. It's not a doctrine. Do you want something that you can never lose? We can have an altar call right now. And as you walk down that aisle, and you accept salvation, walk down that aisle and say, Lord, I accept your cross... I think after the cross, there comes a discipline, in our own spirit, to do the will of God. We're still in need of a greater revelation of it is finished. Are we walking in what's been finished?
