The Enemy Fear Tactic

1 Samuel 17:4–16 NIV<br/>The sight of Goliath was already terrifying—this giant, who was almost 10 feet tall and huge, brought to carry 58kg of bronze as a coat!<br/>Goliath had not even fought yet, but the sight of him and their imaginations of what he could do brought paralysing fear to the minds of the Israelites. Now to solidify that fear: Goliath came and taunted them persistently daily for 40 days and nights! (40 days is a key to note.)<br/>This is the devil's fear tactic. Push fearful thoughts and lies persistently until they are believed and seen as the truth. His tactic is to capture or win the battlefield of the mind, and once he does, he knows everything will follow. <br/>The first step to stopping this is capturing our thoughts! Those thoughts that do not align with Phil 4:8–9 No matter how reasonable or attractive they may seem, as long as they're rooted in the devil.<br/>By capturing the thoughts, we are winning first in our minds, and then it manifests physically. The battle starts with the mind.<br/>Philippians 4:8-9 NKJV"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things.
