The Hope Chest

My mother had a hope chest. Dictionary.com describes it as being a chest that women used to store things in for their future marriage. As a daily writer of 29 years it's been my self agreement to never trap what's been written in a box. Take what you've put on a page and create a conversation. When the words we are saying silently are hidden away the physical presence of self sits without listeners.
