Ep. 20: Max Keiser & Stacy Herbert - Bitcoin, Liberty & Hope
My guests today are Max Keiser & Stacy Herbert, Bitcoin OGs and advisors to president Nayib Bukele in El Salvador, leading various initiatives.
Stacy is also known as the “Fairy godmother”, she’s a broadcaster, writer, and producer, and co-hosting, with lots of grace, wit and sharpness, the “Orange Pill” podcast with Max and formerly co-hosting "The Keiser Report".
Max is a broadcaster, filmmaker, and financial analyst, Wikipedia has: “known for his outspoken views on economics and finance”, and I’ll translate that to “badass, funny and sharp human”. Max began his career on Wall Street before transitioning to media.
In this episode we discuss the Bitcoin movement and its impact on El Salvador and the world. Max & Stacey share what life in El Salvador is like these days with Bukele’s new policies, economic growth, and the organic growth of the Bitcoin community. We touched on Bitcoin, Gold, and CBDCs, and how Bitcoin is a true instrument of freedom and sovereignty. We also explored the risks of institutional involvement in Bitcoin, ETFs, and possible price manipulations.
