Although Chuck comes from the center-left and Danny from the center-right, they are in full accord on this issue. Both believe that J Street causes a split in the pro-Israel lobby that greatly weakens both it and the strength of the US-Israeli relationship, one of the fundamental pillars of Israel’s national security. While Chuck agrees with J Street substantively on some of the issues, both agree that the place to change Israel’s policies is in Israel and not by lobbying the American government against it.
