The Living Marriage
As we continue our series of conversations on marriage, we turn our attention to some of the things that keeps or raises moral in marriage. To be Living means to be alive with awareness, interest and responsiveness. Without these qualities, we subconsciously cease to live but rather we just exist.I believe the idea of existing or just getting by applies to many facets of our life. Afterall, in scripture, there is a passage in Revelation that describes the various churches, and when talking about the church in Sardis, he wrote, “I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die.”Unfortunately, many have settled to "exist in marriage" rather than to live. This my friends, was not and will never be the divine prescription for this beautiful union - marriage. Our guest today Dr. Ron Woodard is an Educator, Author, Writer and Leadership Mentor. He and his wife (Cicely) are co-authors of the book - Keeping the stars Aligned - which is available on Amazon.
