The Longevity Secrets: Passion, Purpose, and Positivity
In this Living to 100 Club Podcast, we invite as our guest Dr. Noelle Nelson. We discuss longevity secrets, the common thread found in older adults who enjoy longevity: doing what you love. Noelle is the author if 15 books including The Longevity Secret: How to Live Happy, Healthy, and Vibrant into your 70s, 80s, 90s and Beyond. We explore findings from the research that shows how your passion leads to a longer, healthier life. And we learn more about the hundreds of older adults she has featured on her website, Meet the Amazings. Many of these are centenarians who share these longevity secrets. Mini Bio Since 2016, Dr. Nelson has been posting stories about older people who are leading rewarding and fulfilling lives on a Meet The Amazings Facebook page. The page features over 600 "Amazings," and has more than 14,000 followers. Dr. Nelson is also a monthly contributor to SixtyandMe.com, writing about happiness, gratitude, and healthy aging. Dr. Nelson has appeared on national and international radio and television including CBS's "The Early Show" and ABC's "The View.” She has been interviewed, quoted, or written about in such diverse publications as Entrepreneur Magazine, People, Cosmo, Woman’s World, Investor's Business Daily and the Los Angeles Times. Dr. Nelson, a clinical psychologist and trial consultant, holds a Ph.D. from the United States International University and sociology degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles and the Sorbonne, Paris.
