The Mental Threads Podcast Episode #123: Naafie

For this episode of the mental threads podcast I'll be conversing with an artist by the name of Naafie, he was born in Boston and currently resides in South Carolina. We drove deeper into his ancestral roots from Eastern Africa with Ethiopia and Tanzania to his roots in the states being of Seminole Indian descent. We speak on matters in regards to how these cultures reflect him and their impact on society as a whole while also discussing all sorts of things ranging from his interest in places to travel and why but most importantly we speak on matters in regards to improving African and African diaspora relations. We go into discussion in regards to his art especially with his mixtape called morphing time which is a call back to the Power rangers and their whole culture of giant robots and over the top violence used to inspire the art in an artist like Naafie.
