For this episode of the mental threads podcast I'll be conversing with one artist originally from Wilmington North Carolina and now currently resorting in Charlotte V.I.; he is a dope artist that is mastered in the style of boom Bap. His projects arranging from "Niggas Still Sleep" to "Expect The Unexpected" both the dropped in 2020 are jam-packed with illtrack after illtrack. We go and discussion in regards to his background growing up in Wilmington which was once a predominantly black town in North Carolina but is now mostly a retirement community for the wealthy with a whole lot of gritty parts. We discuss his background in regards to what led him on this path as a rap artist and we also go in discussion of artist that has influenced him over the years.
