The Non Perfect Parents Club: Chatting with Sophie
In this episode I am joined by Sophie, Mum of 2. We talk about breastfeeding and co-sleeping and how Sophie didn't necessarily intend to do either! We talk about how Sophie manages work with parenting, particularly when she's never used childcare for either of her children before they went/go to school and touch on how the whole system of going back to work when we're expected to is really hard. Sleep has been Sophie's biggest challenge and she talks about how she thinks parents should just be more honest about this right from the start. Sophie wishes there wasn't as much pressure on Mums and that we all had confidence in our decisions as parents. We discuss how there are too many versions of parenting and that you don't have to fit into a certain 'mum stereotype'! Another honest conversation about parenting!
