Jim had a live show on Thanksgiving Day and started the hour by talking with author Ruth Laney about her book "Cherie Quarters, the place and the people that inspired Ernest J. Gaines." Advocate and nola.com reporter Mark Ballard came on for his regular Thursday hit and discussed Senator John Kennedy's big decision on whether he'll run for U.S. Senate. Jim and Mark also discussed inflation and next year's governor's race. The final guest on the show was Robynne Chutkan to discuss her book "The Anti-Viral Gut."
