Tracee Dunblazier - You Don’t Have to be Happy All the Time!
I’m really excited to be speaking on this topic of transformative grief. For those of you who have followed us for a while, you’ll discover that the majority of my guests have been transformed by their own grief. And I have to include myself here and pinch myself because who would have thought, I certainly didn’t expect all this when I was going through my own grief 12 years ago, that I ended up actually transforming my life, from working in a hospital to training as a grief coach. And now I’m here as a podcast host, interviewing the most incredible people.I am truly honored to introduce our guest, Tracee Dunblazier. And she’s going to explain to us why this is so and how those grieving can learn to transform their own grief. Tracee is an eight-time national award-winning author. She’s a respected intuitive coach, a high-energy keynote presenter, and a shaman. She also has a new book that’s out called Transformative Grief: An Ancient Ritual of Healing for Modern Times. Here’s what (or who) we talk about:What is transformative grief? Why is it the glue that connects us to ourselves? Grieving changes how we see things!Emotion can get stuck in the body. What happens if you don’t release all that energy? The difference between grief from mourning.Closure is not just jumping to the “end”. It’s a completion of an entire cycle! Breaking free from the culture that doesn’t allow us to process our grief and trauma. The value of laughing and crying.Knowing the “why’s” in life and understanding why certain things happen to you.And much more!
