Training Camp Day 4: Quentin Johnston Drops Some Momentum, Los Angeles Chargers Young DBs Impressing

Rookie Quentin Johnston has gotten off to a surprisingly fast start at Los Angeles Chargers training camp making a ton of highlight plays. On Monday Johnston had a few drops and had the first day of camp where he actually looked like a rookie. The biggest star at camp on Day 4 was 2022 7th-round pick Deane Leonard who came away with 5 pass breakups! Cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor also had his biggest day of camp so far, and the Chargers young guys showing out could pay big dividends down the road. One of the things that has been a huge focus for the Chargers early through four days has been tackling drills. The coaching staff has out the emphasis on better fundamentals which will play a huge factor in the success of the defense.
