Walking in Excellence [Ep. 152]

I lost my wallet at an industry conference in Chicago… My ID, credit cards, money…you name it. Gone. 💨 I had nothing but my name tag to prove that I was Becky Davis. The people I asked to help me were rude and ungracious. And let me tell you… what started out as a great day at the conference, ended with me going to bed asking God what he was trying to show me that day. Ya’ll, God was working on me with that situation, because I was STRESSED. I frantically worked to cancel ALL my cards, because who knows where it was or who had it… I didn’t even have any money for dinner that night. So I prayed. 🙏🏾 And it helped me realize that this was a temporary inconvenience…and that I was more connected to these things than I thought… I felt more in control…stronger when I had them with me. And I felt some type of way because I couldn’t access it. But after praying with God for two hours, I was reminded that while I lost my things, I did not lose Him. ❤️ I remembered that when I walk in excellence, when I focus on pleasing and being acceptable to God, He will protect me in any situation.
