We're Not Crazy As We Sound. But We Might Be Crazier with SlyGoomba - HHR049
This week on High Hash Rate, Dan and Mike speak with Jeff (@SlyGoomba) from the Why Bitcoin PodcastJeff returns to High Hash Rate to discuss some of the more cosmic and abstract ideas Bitcoiners share on forums like Twitter, their podcasts, and other corners of the internet. To some, Bitcoiners sound a little unhinged, dogmatic, and definitely crazy. However, we use terms like "fiat", not in the literal sense, but as shorthand to symbolize the problems, greed, and negative behavior that a fiat monetary system causes. Likewise, when we say "Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin fixes this", we're not just talking about the Bitcoin protocol, but using simple terms to encapsulate "the opposite of fiat". Once you know the lingo, you'll see we're not as crazy as we sound... but we might be crazier.Jeff's Twitter: @SlyGoombaDan Twitter: @hrtlndbitcoinMike Twitter: @rundancebitcoinHigh Hash Rate Twitter: @HighHashRate
