In 1888, in front of a sold-out audience at the Princess Theatre, British-Italian Opera Singer Frederick Baker suffered a massive heart attack as he descended into "hell" through a trapdoor on the stage. Despite the desperate attempts by doctors to save him, he was declared dead forty minutes later... except that his co-stars swore he joined them for the final curtain call! In this episode, Juliana explores some famous ghost stories from Australia, England and the USA, and considers the age old question, what is it that makes people believe in ghosts?
