He is the founder, owner, and CEO of Mays Leadership, a consulting firm that helps teams overcome common team dysfunctions. Renowned as a speaker, consultant and coach, Dr. Mays holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana and graduate degrees in organizational leadership and psychology. Our discussion focused on the work we do as people, to be better and create an enlightened culture where human beings thrive. Together, we analyze what it truly means to be ‘wise at work’; insight on the golden rule vs the platinum rule, leadership as an extension of personality, and the blind spots that are inevitable in the human experience.In our conversation, we were interested to learn about Dr. May's impact with young people. He once led an initiative called ‘Mark to the Mountain’ where local teens placed the World’s Largest Red Ribbon on the mountain overlooking the city, showcasing their commitment to healthy lifestyles.
