Yahweh Comforts and Saves His People (Part I)
In Isaiah 51-1-52-12, we witness 6 commands and an interlude demonstrating God's gracious-provision of salvation to the world through his Servant.-I. Listen, my people- I will comfort you--A. I'll bless you like Abraham -51-1-2-.-B. I'll restore you like Eden -51- 3-.-II. Listen, my people- I will save--A. My salvation reaches the ends of the earth -51-4-5-.-B. My salvation is forever -51-6-.-III. Listen, my people- Don't fear men--A. Because you know righteousness and my teaching is in your heart -51-7-.-B. Because men are temporary, but my righteousness and salvation are forever--51-8-.--IV. Awake, Yahweh, awake and exercise your might--A. Save us as you did our forefathers from Egypt -51-9-1o- --B. And we will joyfully praise you -51-11-.-Yahweh's interlude- I comfort and deliver you, though you have forgotten me and are-afraid of your oppressors -51-12-16-.
