Youth Incarceration in Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander Communities

A facilitated panel will highlight the experiences of members of Asian and Pacific Islander communities with the criminal justice system. Letters from incarcerated members of the API Cultural Awareness Group will be shared alongside the panelists' dialogue. The harmful effect of incarceration on this population will be revealed through these combined voices.This event is co-presented by APICAG (API Cultural Awareness Group), FIGHT (Formerly Incarcerated Group Healing Together), Parisol, and The Seattle Public Library.
