YULIA BARTENEVA: Everyone has a creative side, they just need the right environment to express themselves
ENG: How can art help young people deal with trauma? What is the best way to cope with sudden life changes and how can people use channel negative emotions to produce a positive outcome? In this episode, we speak with former Ukrainian X Factor contestant Yulia Barteneva, who is a teacher of the arts and music. This year, her life was changed unexpectedly and abruptly with Russia's invasion of her home country. Yulia became a refugee in Romania, then in the Czech cities of Most and Prague. She currently teaches children music lessons at the Karel Komárek Family Foundation's Prague 6 site. Her story is both inspiring and fascinating, and we're deeply honoured to be able to share it with you here.CZ: Jak může umění pomoci mladým lidem se smířit s traumatem? V letošním roce se její život obrátil vzhůru nohami poté, co Rusko vrthlo do její domovské země. Yulia se náhle stala běženkyní v Rumunsku a poté v Mostě a v Praze.
