Hello Indie movie friends, we certainly hope you are very well on this Halloween, a favorite holiday here at ALI. We are dropping an episode one day early to…well, we just want to get this one out there because we’re darned excited about it. This episode’s movie finally allowed us to analyze in detail the intelligence of beavers…or at least zombie ones. The movie Zombeavers is a treasure, everyone and yes, John Mayer does steal the show. In this episode we discuss the brilliance of John Lithgow as a villain, Ryan’s Fast 9 predictions clearly do not come true, Todd makes comparisons to an iconic scene in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man as well as coins the term: “porpoise-level”, we find yet another Andy Sidaris connection, Ryan talks about all the movies he loves and the world hates…too many movies really, and we reveal probably the most obscure movie credit yet on A Little Independent. Do we wish that Betty White was in this film? A little. Do we still want to see a spin-off movie about Smyth?
