023 | Healing from Burnout
Buckle up. We're talking about burnout.

Let's Get Vulnerable

I know. Burnout is basically a buzzword at this point. It annoys me, too. But the reality - my reality, anyway - is that I'm burnt out.

In this podcast episode, I tell you about my experience realizing I'm burnt out and what I'm doing about it. I talk about what it's been like growing up as a Millennial and how the book Can't Even has brought so much of my life experiences into perspective. But beyond that, I talk about the really fucking annoying part about burnout, which is how there's so little that can be done about it without making great, big life changes. Do you have the luxury to put your life on hold for a year or two while you recover? Because I don't.

Does that mean there's no hope for those who are burnt out? I don't think so. In this episode, I outline the eight things I'm going to do to begin my burnout healing journey, and I address what this means for me as a health, wellness, and lifestyle coach.

Resources Referenced in This EpisodeCan't Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation, by Anne Helen Petersen The Financial Diet, YouTube channel
Join the conversation! What is your biggest takeaway from this conversation?
