San Antonio College President, Dr. Naydeen González-De Jesús, talks with Hot Mustard about the Student Enrichment Center.This episode’s guest is Sabrina Macal-Polasek, Career Experience Team Leader at the San Antonio College Student Enrichment Center.The San Antonio College Student Enrichment Center, located in the Moody Learning Center room 107, engages students and provides support through career services and experiential learning. The center provides programming, events, and fosters partnerships beneficial to SAC and SAC’s community partners.Sabrina talks about the importance building skills that help students in the workplace. Dr. Naydeen offers tips, protocol, and etiquette for job interviews. Extracurricular activities are great but, students need to show to employers what skills they gained from their time with clubs, student organizations, and work-study opportunities. Sabrina also talks about the importance of seeking paid internships for students.
