#107 Childhood acting, caregiving, hairdressing and more with Joey & Cosmo
We meet our next guest Joey Sontz and Cosmo Lizzy down a beautifully line Street in Albany. We settled into the basement around a table and set up. I have a nice pre-chat and it’s like something out of a 70s show that 70s sitcom Joey and Cozumel are like long long lost friends. They have a great banter and ability to finish each other sentences a total appreciation for each other and to care for each other that is evident. Cosmo is a caregiver and a hairdresser who was adopted. From his hairdressing experience and his caregiving role in life he’s just such a beast, strong, kind of a rooted human. Oh, that’s been given a special gift of empathy and service. I think they really complement each other because Joey stories pretty tough, and he’s a childhood actor known he was gonna be a star, his whole life and the glisten his eye is there. He’s got such a zest for life, and he even still has got that kind of childlike wonderment with the ideas and thoughts of making a big. But along the way life happened and he lost his mom and his dad one by one over long illnesses and then lost his wife to cancer so his career and life has been on hold for 20 years and then the time he’s found you know compassion and empathy in, and so many beautiful human things. Join us on this episode to hear how to really different lives, came together in their appreciation for each others service and closeness to death.
