We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this episode, we review our series in Joel 2 making all the tie-ins between Joel 2's theme of fire which is also found in Acts 2 and in 1 For 3 as a model of temple building that aligns with initial creation in Genesis where God built an habitation for himself by use of fire to represent his presence. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives.
