We can all agree that insurance is the most confusing topic in healthcare. And with all the supplies we need to keep our diabetes in check, it’s important to make sure our health insurance plan is working for us, not against us. Dr. E is sitting down to talk all things insurance with Geroge Huntley who is a T1D, CEO of the Diabetes Leadership Council & Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition, and the Plan Administrator for his employer-based health plan (plus about a million other things). George will explain the different health insurance offerings and what people with diabetes need to look for to find the best plan for them.
