Making a pit stop for pleasure at the Lost Sea, the adventure begins with a guided tour of the caverns. This involves a ¾ mile round-trip walk on wide sloping pathways. While touring the caverns and underground lake the guides will tell of the cavern’s exciting and colorful history. They will also explain the fascinating geological development of the immense cavern rooms and rare formations. At the bottom of the cave you will take a boat ride on The Lost Sea, America’s Largest Underground Lake. Crossings Lexington is a queer dive bar located in the heart of downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It has existed since the 1980s with a colorful history rooted deeply in the community. The current owners took over management in 2019 and have focused on making it more inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of the entire community. Nearly every event hosted at Crossings benefits one of the many philanthropic organizations that work to improve the lives of LGBT+ folks in the Commonwealth.
