In this episode I talk to Wanderlust retreat facilitator and travel coach, Gina Cambridge. After solo travelling in her forties, Gina noticed how some women wanted to travel but just didn’t know where to start, either because they had no one to travel with or because they lacked the confidence to do so. So, she founded Wanderlust Solo Women Tours, allowing her to share her passions for travel, meeting people, and self-empowerment. Starting with local retreats in New Zealand, she went on to host three retreats in Bali, with a fourth coming up in October of this year. In this episode, we discuss solo female travel in your forties and beyond, WWOOFing, Workaway, and other ways to fund your travels, and Gina’s retreats, which sound amazing – especially the part about releasing baby turtles into the wild!
