The inspiration for the book came from the author’s daughter, Ashli, who was three years old.
Ashli said to the author, “Tell me a story, Daddy.”
“Okay but you have to give me the title,” the author replied.
“A Dandelion,” she said.
And a new universe of writing was born. Sally Dandelion is a kind-hearted soul just trying to go through life. Not being invited to a party based on what kind of flower/weed you are is not fair. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly. “A DANDELION” addresses racism in a kind way through flowers. It takes place in a make-believe flower town. Themes include being kind, being humble and reserving judgment. Be careful who you judge because that flower/weed may one day save your life! https://www.amazon.com/Dandelion-Story-Touches-Sensitive-Flowerism-ebook/dp/B0B41YN477/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3D8SZDAYE2EGK&keywords=9781663240507&qid=1665110416&qu=eyJxc2MiOiItMC4wMSIsInFzYSI6IjAuMDAiLCJxc3AiOiIwLjAwIn0%3D&sprefix=9781663240507%2Caps%2C254&sr=8-1
