A Place for Us: a Celebration of West Side Story, with the 5th Ave Theatre

Since its premiere in 1957, West Side Story, which plays at the 5th Ave Theatre from May 31-June 23, has continued to resonate with new audiences and new generations. Through musical performances and interviews with community leaders, students, and artists, we will reflect on the impact this piece has had throughout history and explore how its call for love and social justice continues to echo in our own communities and neighborhoods.
