Bob Soulliere is an Advanced or Level 2 Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, Oxygen Advantage Instructor, Buteyko Educator, a dad, a husband, a Crossfitter, a novice open water swimmer, a cybersecurity process person, and a planking savant.  He is also an explorer of life.  Bob thrives on connecting people to their power, to resources and to each other. Bob began his healing journey with breath because he saw so much pain and suffering in the world.  He wanted to give people a way to take greater control over their health and life. In his breathing training, Bob's game is to put people in the driver’s seat of their life with breathing and mindset.  He works on the foundational components of health and helps people rediscover their personal power. For Bob, your nervous system is your entire experience of life.  While it is often considered to be automatic, Bob explains that the breath is the remote control over the nervous system.  It is the most innate control that we have. Bob says that we are all really good at grinding and working hard, but not so great at resting and relaxing.  These are skills that can be developed and are truly life changing. Bob utilizes various tools like the Wim Hof method, Cadence Breathing, Heart Rate Variability biofeedback, and Breath Holding; however, his baseline is that he is a nasal breather 100% of the time. Why nasal breathing?  Bob says nasal breathing is much more efficient and calming.  Breathing through the mouth triggers the chest while nose breathing connects with your diaphragm, so it’s a much deeper breath. Bob says that it's critical to decide how you want to feel and then breathe that way.  For instance, if you want to be focused and calm, then you should breathe that way.  Or if you want to slow down and sleep, then you want to breathe that way.
