CataractCoach PodCast 13: Randall Olson MD
Dr. Randall Olson is Chairman and Professor of Ophthalmology at the Moran Eye Institute at the University of Utah in the USA. He has accomplished so much in his career including building an entire eye institute and ophthalmology department from scratch. In this podcast you will learn how he started as the solo ophthalmologist at the university and then decades later, grew it to dozens of ophthalmologists and hundreds of team members. He also gives some very important insight into the future of cataract and refractive surgery with a methodology that virtually ensures better than 20/20 vision for the entirety of life. Truly remarkable -- so much so that I have already forwarded this podcast to many people, including my children, to instill a sense of excitement about ophthalmology.
