Doctors, Medicine and Faith

Doctors, Medicine and FaithIn all we do, we should be able to do in faith because without faith it is impossible to please God. (See Hebrews 11:6)In this episode, I share from Scripture that God isn't against doctors or medicine and they can in fact be good. However, we must always keep God first and look to God first and not as a last resort. What we believe about our future isn't based on the words of a doctor but on the Word of God. Scriptures:
“...For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.” - Romans 14:23 (ESV)Luke the disciple was a doctor. Colossians 4:14Jesus was referred to himself as a physician.  Mark 2:17, Luke 4:23A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments. - 1 Timothy 5:23We must do thing in the natural to take care of our body or we can get wore down and sick. An example is Epaphroditus in Philippians 2:25-302 Chronicles 16:12-13 (NIV says sought help only from physicians)“12 In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians. 13 Then in the forty-first year of his reign Asa died and rested with his ancestors.”
